We collaborate on Cybersecurity and Deeptech Innovation!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of organizing a groundbreaking event in partnership with Microsoft,distinguished representatives from the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre and MARITIME CYBER SECURITY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE. The event focused on exploring opportunities from NATO - Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), The European Defence Fund - EDF 2023 Work Programme and NATO Innovation Fund (NIF).

We started off with a keynote speech from Bogdan Putinica, Country Manager Microsoft Romania & Moldova, followed by a presentation on the hottest AI Technologies from Sergiu Pop, Data and AI Specialist at Microsoft. Moving on to the "Deep tech funding opportunities" panel with Adrian Duta, Vice President Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre, Gabriel Raicu, Director at MARITIME CYBER SECURITY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE and Vice Rector for Innovation and Research at Constanta Maritime University, Nicu Iancu, Chief Strategy Officer at InnovX and Daniel Dumitrescu, PhD., Chief Operations Officer at InnovX and Principal at Radix Ventures . Afterwards, 4 InnovX-BCR Program Deeptech Alumni presented their innovative solutions: Ionut Gavrilescu, Managing Director and Co-Founder at FieldOS, Virginia Zetu, Director at Fibercon, Vicentiu Corbu, CEO at KIM 4 Industry and Andreea Cocheci, Head of Sales at Axigen Messaging in front of a jury formed of the abovementioned specialists, joined by jeni cimpineanu, Director of the research and training department at Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre, Daniel Ilie for questions and feedback

Our collaboration with the prestigious Constanta Maritime University enables us to make significant strides in these crucial domains. By becoming an official acceleration partner of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), now we are in the perfect position to offer a qualified deeptech pipeline for the newly established Radix Ventures Capital Fund, that just marked a monumental €25 M investment from the European Investment Fund (EIF), targeting a 70 M Euro cap in 2024. We understand the importance of fostering partnerships and knowledge exchange between the private and public sectors. Events like this provide an ideal platform to explore funding opportunities and encourage the growth of startups working on deep tech solutions. Together, we strive to build a more secure and technologically advanced future.
