On 26-27 November 2025, InnovX participated in the “Clusters Meet Regions - Cross (X) Innovation in Regensburg” conference, organised by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) together with the City of Regensburg, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, and Bayern Innovativ. InnovX was represented by Rares Gherasim, who joined cluster organizations, companies, policymakers and innovation agencies from across Europe to discuss how cross‑innovation can strengthen sustainable, resilient and competitive regional innovation ecosystems.
During the two‑day programme, InnovX attended high‑level plenaries and thematic cross‑sessions covering Smart City x Cluster Innovation, Creative Industries x Urban Development, GreenTech x Artificial Intelligence Regensburg (AIR) and StartUP x HealthTech. These sessions highlighted best‑practice collaborations between clusters, municipalities, academia and industry, with practical examples from sustainable mobility, creative urban planning, green technologies and digital health.

InnovX took part in the opening session and the scene‑setting discussions on Regensburg’s cluster ecosystem and cross‑innovation strategy, gaining a better understanding of how coordinated cluster policies can advance EU objectives while enhancing local competitiveness. Throughout the conference, the InnovX team was active in cluster networking, B2B matchmaking and informal meetings, engaging with stakeholders focused on AI, Greentech, HealthTech and smart city solutions from various European regions.

On the second day, InnovX joined the programme hosted at TechBase Regensburg, where the GreenTech x AIR and StartUP x HealthTech sessions demonstrated how cross‑cluster collaboration can speed up startup development and technology deployment in fields such as the energy transition and healthcare innovation. The team also participated in a site visit to Regensburg’s BioPark, gaining insights into the local life sciences cluster, its support for startups, and its role as a central hub for biotech and medtech entrepreneurship.

By participating in Clusters Meet Regions Regensburg 2025, InnovX strengthened its position as a connector between startups, corporates and public authorities at European level. The conference generated several new partnership ideas and project opportunities in AI‑driven Greentech and HealthTech, and laid the groundwork for future collaborations with cluster organizations and innovation hubs across the EU.
