The Spinoff Program

The Spinoff was where start-up entrepreneurs found development opportunities for their ideas or businesses. In 2020 we had a program that aimed to support those who wanted to innovate and invest in solid business plans. We evaluated the best programs and provided details and access to lay the foundation for successful projects.

A good idea meant nothing unless it was implemented. For this reason, we wanted to highlight unique opportunities, the first of which was Startup Studio by factory, a new component brought to the factory by Raiffeisen Bank financing program, which offered opportunities for ideas at the beginning of the road. It was where the boldest ideas could take the step to successful businesses. Startup Studio welcomed projects that had emerged from research and development efforts in academia, research institutes, and corporate R&D departments, which could be transformed into viable businesses with growth potential.

Benefits

Design Thinking Together with IBM accredited facilitators, you will learn how to implement the Design Thinking methodology, get your idea validated and create a final product by deeply understanding the needs and expectations of your end user
Business Plan Together with the mentors of the program, you will outline the business objectives, as well as the necessary steps you must follow from a financial, operational and commercial point of view. At the end, you will get a solid business plan, aligned with the principles of ethics and sustainability
Funding: Factory by Raiffeisen Bank You can get a loan of up to €50K for your idea, under preferential cost conditions and guarantees
Mentorship Sessions You will participate in mentoring sessions with top executives or founders of successful companies in your field and you will be able to benefit from the know-how of experts in the field
Industry Days If you successfully complete the Startup Studio by factory workshops, you will be able to participate in events dedicated to your industry, having the opportunity to promote your business to market leaders and investors, this stage representing the introduction of your spinoff to the market
Further Funding If the factory funding is not enough for the accelerated development of your business, you will be able to apply either for additional Business Angels funding or for 'Proof-of-concept' innovation grants available for your idea
