The SelectUSA Investment Summit is the highest-profile event in the United States dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI.) This year’s Investment Summit returns in its familiar format to provide exciting opportunities for more investors from more markets and greater representation from economic developers (EDO) across the nation to engage and interact – the 2022 Investment Summit will be the most highly anticipated and productive FDI event you attend all year.
From 28 Alumni from 2020 and 2021, we selected 7 of them, forming a delegation that attracted investment of over 12 M Euro in the last two years, signed partnerships extending their activity, recorded increases in turnover. Therefore, the Startup Alliance members that represented us at the SelectUSA Investment Summit 2022 are:
⭐Salarium is the first Romanian solution for the instant payment of the advance salary and financial education. Salarium is a Fintech startup with a strong desire to change the paradigm of “payday” and to shorten the gap between days worked and days paid. The Salarium team has experience in financial products and benefits and comes with strong expertise in marketing and business growth.
⭐MOCAPP is a martech startup (marketing and technology) founded in 2019. MOCAPP has created an Influencer Ads platform through which companies and agencies use can automate processes and reduce costs by 45% to 70%.
⭐Cyscale is a company from Cluj-Napoca, which develops multi-cloud technologies for management, security and compliance. Cyscale is developing the concept of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) to provide an overview of the entire cloud. The Cyscale story began with the need to manage multiple cloud environments spread across AWS, Azure, and the Google Cloud Platform. After a market research, the Cyscale team realized that there are very few products that offer complete APIs and ways for Dev operators and developers. Thus, Cyscale decided to create “the best tool that developers and their managers will love and use in their daily cloud management work.
⭐Credit Sky (Invoice Cash). In 2020, ICG developed the product Invoice Cash, a FinTech that brings a completely digital, modern and innovative financing solution for SMEs. ICG addresses the lack of liquidity for SMEs through a modern and scalable IT infrastructure, which is easy to use, transparent and operational 24/7, 365 days / year.
⭐Kinderpedia is a SAAS platform and a mobile application designed to help primary schools and kindergartens, offering them complete communication and management solutions. The platform provides customers with a unique operating system to integrate all activities, operational, financial and educational needs. The key features of Kinderpedia are real-time communication, personalized interaction and resource sharing.
⭐Headlight Solutions is a technology company that provides B2B products and solutions, specialized in research and development. The company’s products are: computers, self-service terminals, conference systems, SmartCity & IoT platforms and elaborate software.
⭐Smarthuts is a SaaS solution that allows the distribution and monitoring of tasks assigned to employees or contractors and the optimization of resources and processes involved. Managers will know what their employees are doing, how long and how many resources are involved. SmartHuts keeps a complete record of all tasks performed by employees in the office, remotely or at the location of customers / contractors and highlights them in the company’s workflows.
The 2022 SelectUSA Investment Summit continues its commitment to feature exciting opportunities with innovation and entrepreneurship at the forefront.
SelectUSA Tech returns to connect early-stage and startup technology companies to prospects for advancement in the U.S. market, where participants can exhibit at branded booths, upload a product and service demo video, and apply to pitch in front of a panel of judges, and much more. Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT), launched at the 2021 Investment Summit, returns for its second year! Geared towards international female founders, entrepreneurs, and executives in the technology sector, SGWIT participants will participate in matchmaking with mentors to help them develop a market entry strategy, tailor their product and promotion for success in the U.S. market, have access to an exclusive networking platform, and hear from successful global female founders. Addressing Climate Change – in recognition of the importance of global climate priorities, agenda sessions are being organized to bring together stakeholders in clean energy and key sectors such as advanced batteries, energy storage, civil nuclear energy, offshore wind, and semiconductors. During the SelectUSA event, several pitching sessions took place divided into categories such as cleanTech, ecommerce or retail tech. Three of the Startups abovementioned were selected for the pitch sessions. Salarium and Credit Sky supported pitches in the fintech category, and Cyscale in the Cybersecurity category.
