Let us introduce a new member of the InnovX team! Delia Iliasa, President of MedTech Committee, has been by our side since 2021?
Delia Iliasa comes from Iasi, and always refers to this with pride, but has been living in Bucharest since 2002, so for most of her professional life. Her career started in 2001 and since then has worked in some of the hottest fields: first a sales agent for Korean car producer Hyundai, learning the ABC of sales, she gradually made the transition towards management and has led large teams in automotive, financial services and health & wellness. Since 2010 she focused her entire career to making a positive change in the lives of Romanian people, by launching in Romania the Moving brand and later leading one of the country’s largest fitness networks acquired by WorldClass. She continued by making a bold move towards Healthcare, joining Medicover Romania and leading the medical provider’s commercial arm. One of her duties was to also scout and discover the most promising med-tech projects in Romania, but also in the CEE. During this time Delia met Andrei Vasile, founder of SanoPass and now her business partner. With the clear image of what and how the healthcare ecosystem of the future should look, Delia is now a fulltime entrepreneur, looking to make a relevant change for the users, for the medical and wellness providers and also for the fellow med-tech entrepreneurs.
A graduate of Communications & PR and Law, and also a Maastricht School of Management’s EMBA program alumna, Delia has also graduated InnovX Scaleups Program in 2020 and has continued to stay close to our community.
From personal perspective, Delia looks to get involved in educational and mentoring projects, mainly focusing on medtech and wellness entrepreneurship. A former junior athlete, now a golf enthusiast and first and foremost wife and mother of Alma, Delia is our newest Board member.
She joined the Disciplined Entrepreneurship workshops as a mentor giving insights regarding the decision-making unit and we are looking forward to see what’s next.
